🇫🇷 Le tunnel routier reliant Aragnouet, côté français, à Bielsa, côté espagnol, fête cette année ses 50 ans. Né d’une initiative locale plutôt que d’un grand projet d’État, cet ouvrage traversant les Pyrénées reste un symbole de coopération transfrontalière réussie entre les deux pays, facilitant depuis un demi-siècle les échanges entre les vallées françaises et aragonaises.
Contrairement à d’autres liaisons pyrénéennes tombées en désuétude (comme la gare de Canfranc, voir notre article), le tunnel d’Aragnouet-Bielsa continue de fonctionner normalement, témoignage qu’une coopération bien pensée et portée localement peut traverser les décennies sans encombre.
