🇫🇷 L’après-midi du 23 juillet, tous les candidats au poste de Secrétaire général de l’ONU débattront devant l’Assemblée générale, à l’initiative de sa présidente Annalena Baerbock. Six candidats sont en lice : Michelle Bachelet (Chili), Rafael Mariano Grossi (AIEA), Rebeca Grynspan (Costa Rica), Macky Sall (Sénégal), María Espinosa Garcés (Équateur) et Carolyn Rodrigues Birkett (Guyana). L’Amérique latine revendique le poste par tradition de rotation géographique. António Guterres, ancien Premier ministre portugais, quitte ses fonctions fin 2026 après deux mandats.
